Cristian is a student at the Providence Career and Technical Academy and is studying carpentry. He participated in the 2015-2016 Design/Build summer program. He also has worked on the the Fox Point Play Structure project for a day care, and the shade structure on Prairie Street. His favorite part of DownCity Design is the imagine process, because many ideas are seen and students get to choose which ones are the best. He is on the Student Advisory Board because he likes to give feedback and contribute to the future of DownCity Design.
Nicholas is a student at Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex. He is always ready to face a challenge, no matter the effort. He entered the DownCity Design community when looking for a program to do an after school. He participated in the Warren Street playground structure build, and the RISD outdoor seating build. His favorite part of DownCity Design is being a part of a community, and continues to come to the Advisory Board meetings to see how the organization grows over the years.
Tanner is a student at the MET High School. Her interests are in coding, web design, and digital art. She interned with DownCity Design her freshman year and attended the DownCity Design summer program, Explore Design!
Jason is a junior at Classical High School. He has completed four builds with DownCity Design. One was a skate park at Adrian Hallway, and another was a play structure at Warren Street. His favorite part of DownCity Design is the building phase. He continues to come to the Student Advisory Board because he likes to contribute to DownCity Design as much as possible.
