AFTERSCHOOL SNACK PROGRAM

Healthy, Free Snacks for All Participants

DownCity Design is proud to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a federal nutrition program that helps us provide free, healthy snacks to all children enrolled in our afterschool programs.

What We Offer

Every day when DownCity Design programs are in session, we serve a nutritious afterschool snack consisting of:

  • Fresh fruit

  • Whole grain snack

Snacks are served daily between 3:00 – 3:30 PM

All children enrolled in DownCity Design's afterschool programs are eligible to receive a free snack each day. There are no applications or income requirements. Every child receives the same healthy, nutritious snack at no cost to families.

  • Receive nutritious foods in a safe, supportive environment

The letter must contain the complainant's name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
